There is a moment in every wedding day, a moment that we as photographers look forward to. But before that wonderful moment, there is organized chaos. There are nerves, anxiety, and butterflies. Quick glances at the clock, and hope. Then, in a flash, it happens. The stress melts away, and the peace comes. There is relief that everything is going to work out fine. In the wonderful moment, everything becomes real.
You have planned and prepared for this day for months. You have thought about each and every detail from the venue and flowers, to the cake and food, to the colors and the perfect dress. You have worked hard to make this day come together so beautifully. But in that wonderful moment when reality hits, those details quietly fade into the background. The reality is that you are about to marry the one you are in love with. The one you want to spend the rest of your life with. The one who makes you happiest. Your best friend. You know that is what truly matters.
That moment hits at different times for different people. For Maycen and Bryson that moment was as the officiant pronounced them husband and wife and told them they could kiss. You could see their eyes light up and their smiles grow bigger. They knew that all their hard work of planning had paid off in that exact moment and they would do it all over, again and again, just to make it to this point. That moment was beautiful!
Harvest Park made for an ideal wedding venue allowing the perfect blend of elegant and rustic all rolled together. More and more chairs had to be brought out and set up as their friends and family came to celebrate with them. It was obvious they have many wonderful people in their lives who care dearly for them and are excited for them to start their lives together. As always, we are a little sad to have it all over because we will miss hanging out and spending time with these two.
