Anytime we schedule a session in the winter it’s taking a gamble on this crazy Utah weather. Leading up to this session we had warm beautiful days. Then a day or two before, it turned cold and snowy! Although snow is lovely, it was not exactly the look we were wanting for this family’s session. With a last minute location change we were able to find a great spot that had the perfect county rustic look. It actually ended up being right on their family farm. When you look at these photos you will see the sun shinning bright on the golden fields and the wooden fences adding to the perfect look. What you do not see is the absolutely frigid air and the freezing wind making it all even more cold. By the end of this session my fingers were barely working properly enough to even take the photos. But the Steeles handled the cold like champs! They didn’t complain and they hid how cold they really were well.
We fell in love with this family immediately after meeting them. They were so down to earth and easy going. I could happily photograph this family any day! I’m grateful we had the opportunity to meet the Steeles. Enjoy some of our favorites from their session!
