Have we mentioned that snowy sessions are some of our favorites! The snow brightens up the winter browns and makes everything look clean and fresh. Add in a beautiful family and it makes for a perfect session!
The timing of this session worked out nicely. The day before ended up being stormy and freezing and the day after was similar. The day of was great. Besides there being snow on the ground, it ended up being much warmer than it could have been. Due to the snow we ended up doing a last minute location change. We went to one of our favorite places around, Santaquin canyon. With all the snow we were not able to go far, but we definitely did not need to! We found a lovely little opening not too far up the canyon and even found a little bit of the creek. It was beautiful!
Growing up in a family of girls was the best! We shared clothes, shared the bathroom mirror, and were genuinely each others best friends! Anytime we get to photograph a girl family it always makes me smile and takes me right back. The McDowells were wonderful! They were full of smiles, looked great and so easy to photograph! Can we just hang out with them again and again? It was difficult narrowing down our favorites for this blog post because every photo turned out so good!
