Every couple has a love story. One of our favorite things is to hear all about our couple’s love stories. How and where they met. How long it took them to fall in love. How the proposal went. All the little details in between. Sometimes they are super romantic. Sometimes very funny. No matter what they are, all are unique and special.
We realized that we have never shared our love story. We want to do that now. Over the next several weeks we will share a piece of our story. It may not be dramatic. It may not be earth shattering. But it is special. It is ours.

PART TWO - OFFICIALLY FRIENDS
It was fortunate that Ryan had a friend living in the same apartment complex as Amberly. Because of this, he was in the area from time to time. One of those times happened to be just a couple of weeks after their first meeting.
Let me first back up several months previous to that…
On this particular afternoon, Amberly and her roommates were inside taking turns vacuuming each other in a big black bag. Confused? Let me elaborate. Amberly’s roommate somehow acquired an extra large, extra thick black plastic bag. Think large garbage bag but then think bigger and more durable. The idea soon came to have someone get into the bag and hold it airtight around their neck. Then the rest of the roommates would stick the vacuum hose inside the bag and help keep it airtight around the tube. I’m sure you can guess the rest. The vacuum was then turned on and would suck the air right out of the bag, creating a vacuum pack effect around the person. Sounds weird but don’t mock it until you’ve tried it.
It was common practice to have anyone who came to visit the apartment get into the bag and try it out. Almost an initiation of sorts.
So back to Ryan. A couple weeks after their first meeting, Amberly and her roommate ran into Ryan and his friend again. Naturally they invited them over to their apartment to be initiated in the big black bag. The boys were intrigued and very much obliging. So in the bag they went.
It was in that moment that the deal was sealed. Amberly and Ryan were officially friends.
