There was not a person in the room who was not smiling while listening to Chloe and Sergio read their hand written vows. There was laughter. “You tell me I’m pretty, even when I am not.” There was joy. “I promise to take care of you and our family forever.” There were even a few tears. “You started as my best friend, and now you are my husband.” It was the sweetest vow reading we have been blessed to be a part of. In fact, that sentiment pretty much sums up our feelings for their entire day.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, almost every wedding has been affected in some way. Brides’ dreams have been altered, weddings have been postponed, downsized or even canceled altogether. There have been bumps, twists, and turns along every step of the way. To say it has been an emotional rollercoaster would describe it perfectly. For Chloe and Sergio it has been no different. If all things had gone as planned, these two would have been married for several months now. Their summer wedding was pushed back to a fall wedding. But amidst all the changes and setbacks there has been one common theme. Couples have focused more on each other. Families have rallied together. Everyone has stepped up and made the most of things. Although there have been some non pleasant aspects of 2020, those things have proven to be beautiful.
Chloe and Sergio were married in the lovely White Shanty in Provo. This place is a dream for photographers. The wide open spaces, the many windows letting in natural light, and the unique interior aesthetic with its industrial atmosphere, made our photographer hearts soar! The entire place was transformed even more by the talented Diamond Tip Design and her gorgeous florals!
We want to send a heartfelt thanks to Chloe and Sergio for trusting us to capture their perfect day. We hope as you see your love though the lens of our cameras you will see what we see. A love so sweet and tender that it defies all bumps and obstacles along the way. A love that can and will be lasting, as you remember your vows written with so much thought and care. As you age and grow together, we hope you can always look back at these photos and see them as a reminder of where it all started.
